Introduction

Consistent aim training is the fastest way to improve in CS2. Even 15-30 minutes daily makes a significant difference.

Types of Aim to Practice:
Flicks - Quick snaps to targets

Tracking - Following moving targets

Spray Control - Recoil patterns

Tapping - Single accurate shots

Peeking - Pre-aim + strafe shooting

Daily Warm-up Routine (15-30 min)

Phase 1: Static Aim (5 min)
Map: aim_botz or aim_training_csgo2
100 kills AK/M4

Focus on headshots

Take your time, accuracy > speed

Phase 2: Flick Training (5 min)
Map: aim_botz (moving bots)
Enable bot movement

Practice quick target acquisition

Mix between close and far targets

Phase 3: Spray Control (5 min)
Map: Recoil Master
Practice AK spray pattern

10 sprays at wall (pattern learning)

10 sprays at moving target

Phase 4: Deathmatch (10-15 min)
Official Deathmatch or community FFA
Apply everything in real scenarios

Focus on positioning + crosshair placement

Don't worry about K/D ratio

Pro Tip: Quality > Quantity. 15 focused minutes beats 2 hours of mindless shooting.

Crosshair Placement Tips

The Golden Rule: Always aim at head level

Why It Matters:
Faster time to kill

Less mouse movement needed

Automatic headshots on peek

Separates good from great players

Practice Techniques:

1. Wall Tracing (5 min daily)
Walk around map tracing walls at head level

Never look at ground

Build muscle memory

2. Pre-Aim Common Angles
Learn where enemies peek from

Aim there before seeing them

Use prefire practice maps

3. Corner Positioning
Keep crosshair at angle edge

Ready for immediate contact

Distance from corner affects timing

4. Elevation Adjustment
On stairs: aim higher/lower

Different bomb sites have different levels

Practice on actual maps

Pro Secret: Watch your demos in slow motion. You'll notice your crosshair placement mistakes clearly.

Tracking Your Progress

Metrics to Track:

Headshot Percentage
Check in-game stats

Track weekly average

Aim for 50%+ in DM

Spray Control Accuracy
Record spray attempts

Count hits out of 30 bullets

Should improve over time

Reaction Time
Use aim training map timers

Test at same time daily

Note improvements

Deathmatch K/D
Not most important, but indicator

Improving K/D = improving aim

Track over weeks, not games

Creating a Training Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 15-30 min warm-up
Saturday: 1 hour focused training
Sunday: Competitive matches only

Keep a Simple Log:
Date

Maps practiced

Focus area

Notes on improvement

Remember: Improvement takes weeks/months. Be patient and consistent.
